Preparation time: about 35 minutes.
Cooking tip: Soak lentils in cold water for 1-2 hours to make cooking easier and then rinse. Boil in water at a ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 (lentil:water), according to desired thickness. Avoid adding salt in the beginning as it slows down the cooking.

Brown lentil “Extra” Familex is high-class brown lentils with which you can prepare delicious dishes from Bulgarian and international cuisines. Its seeds are small, with a slight earthy taste, and the pods are very aromatic, which is why it is preferred. It boils easily, which can be avoided if a little oil is added to the water and boiled for no more than 25 minutes.
